Steps:
- In skillet brown chopped bacon. When grease starts to form, add onions. Saute until onions are tender and bacon is crisp.
- In large stock pot add broth and seasonings. Add bacon onion mixture including bacon grease. Add greens and stir until all are coated. Bring to boil.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer 3 1/2 to 4 hours covered.
