Malt Vinegar Slaw image

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 heads green cabbage
1 heads radicchio
1 units carrots
1 units red onion
1 cups mayonnaise
0.25 cups coarse grain mustard
0.5 cups malt vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
1 units lemon
1 units salt and pepper
0.5 cups sunflower seeds

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, radicchio, carrot and onion.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the mayo, mustard, vinegar, sugar and lemon juice. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Toss the slaw with the dressing, cover and refrigerate for an hour or more, then toss with the sunflower seeds before serving.
