This cornbread is sweet. Make sure you mix this by hand with a wooden spoon or whisk. Dont use an electric mixer.

Steps:
- Put first five dry ingredients in a large bowl. Mix together by hand with a whisk. Good cornbread is best mixed by hand without the use of electric kitchen instruments.
- Add remaining four wet ingredients to the bowl one at a time, while whisking until combined and the batter is smooth.
- Pour into a greased (I use vegetable oil) 8 X 10 baking pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes until the top is slightly golden color and a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the center.
