Macaroni and Cheese from Scratch image

I don't remember where I got this recipe but the family likes it anytime I make it. It makes a wonderful side dish.

Categories     Pasta Sides

Number Of Ingredients 5

8 oz macaroni
2 Tbsp butter
1/2 c cream
1 c cheddar cheese, shredded
dash(es) worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • 1. Cook macaroni according to package instructions.
  • 2. Drain and return to pot.
  • 3. Over low heat, add butter and stir until melted.
  • 4. Add cream and cheese and heat, stirring constantly, until cheese melts.
  • 5. Season with a dash or two of worcestershire sauce.
  • 6. Serve at once.
