Loaded Potato Soup image

I serve this a lot during the fall and winter. Since you choose what to add to it, it's guaranteed to please everyone.

Number Of Ingredients 10

8 large baking potatoes
1 medium onion,diced
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
1 can(s) milk (use the soup can)
1/2 pkg bacon, fried and crumbled
6 chicken bullion cubes
sour cream
cheddar cheese
sliced green onions
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • 1. Peel and dice potatoes into large soup pot. Add onions, bacon, soup, milk, and bullion cubes.
  • 2. Add enough water to cover potatoes.
  • 3. Simmer on low heat until potatoes are tender.
  • 4. Serve with sour cream, cheese, and green onions as desired.
