Number Of Ingredients 12

1 lb extra-lean ground beef
2 minced garlic cloves
28 oz crushed tomatoes
8 oz tomato sauce
6 oz tomato paste
2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
8 oz whole wheat linguine
16 oz sour cream
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 pkg green onions
1 1/2 c mozzarella cheese, shredded

Steps:

  • 1. Cook beef and garlic in dutch oven until no longer pink. Drain beef mixture. Stir in tomatoes and next 4 ingredients; simmer 30 minutes. Set meat sauce aside.
  • 2. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain.
  • 3. Place pasta in a 13 x 9 baking dish coated with cooking spray. Stir together sour cream, cream cheese and chopped onions. Spread over linguine.
  • 4. Top with meat sauce. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and bake 5 minutes.
