Kraft Slow Cooked Chicken and Dumplings image

How to make Kraft Slow Cooked Chicken and Dumplings

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 lb.(500 g) boneless skinless chicken thighs
1-2/3 cups25%-less-sodium chicken broth
1 cupeach chopped onions, celery and carrots
2 cups frozen peas
1/2 cup(1/2 of 250-g tub) Philadelphia Herb & Garlic Cream Cheese Spread
1 pkg.(120 g) Stove Top Stuffing Mix for Chicken
1/2 cuphot water
1 egg, lightly beaten

Steps:

  • Combine chicken, broth, onions, celery and carrots in slow cooker; cover with lid.
  • Cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours (or on HIGH for 3-1/2 hours).
  • Add peas and cream cheese spread; stir until well blended.
  • Mix egg, stuffing mix and water until well blended.
  • Drop stuffing mixture, 2 heaping tablespoonfuls at a time, onto chicken mixture in slow cooker.
  • Cook, covered, an additional 30 min on HIGH.
  • Turn off slow cooker.
  • Let stand 15 min. before serving.
