I wanted to make a cake edible for humans and dogs for my baby's 3rd birthday and i found this recipe. DOG/HUMAN BIRTHDAY CAKE
1 c white flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 c peanut butter
1/4 c vegetable oil
1 c shredded carrots
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 Tbsp sugar
1 egg
FROSTING
1 c cream cheese
2 Tbsp strawberry jam
1 c dog food

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  • 2. Mix together flour and baking soda
  • 3. Add remaining ingredients and mix well (i did this all in a food processor..it makes this recipe a lot easier to make)
  • 4. pour in to greased 13x5 pan
  • 5. cook for 35-40 min
  • 6. FROSTING: mix cream cheese and jelly in food processor with a splash of milk spread over finished "cake"
  • 7. *cut a piece of the cake for yourself before adding dog food*
  • 8. write happy birthday with pieces of dog food and decorate with dog treats
