Jewish Coffee Cake image

My family loves it on Christmas morning along with breakfast. I also make it for our Bible Study. Everyone likes it, young and old. Use different kinds of cake with different pudding. White cake with pistachio putting. Great cake for St. Patrick's day.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 box yellow cake mix
2 box small instant vanilla pudding
4 eggs
1/2 c oil
1 c water
2 tsp vanilla
TOPPING
1 c white sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 c nuts

Steps:

  • 1. Beat: eggs, oil and water in bowl.
  • 2. Add: Vanilla (optional)
  • 3. Add: Cake mix from box and pudding. This can be mixed together with a fork. Batter will be slightly lump
  • 4. Pour: Batter in 9 x 12 in pan.
  • 5. Mix: Together topping and sprinkle all over batter. Work in with a spatula.
  • 6. Bake: at 350 for 45 minutes.
  • 7. Variations: Use different kind of cake mix and flavor of pudding. Chocolate cake mix and Butter Pecan make a really great cake. 8x8 inch pan cut in half. Use Jiffy Cake Mix
