Jelly Frosting image

An easy delicious frosting for cakes or cupcakes.

Number Of Ingredients 4

1/2 cup(s) jelly ( your favorite )
1 - unbeaten egg white
2 tablespoon(s) sugar
1 dash(es) salt

Steps:

  • Combine jelly, ( our favorite is strawberry), egg whites, sugar, and salt in top of double boiler
  • Cook over boiling water beating constantly until stiff peaks form
  • Remove from heat. Beat until of spreading consistency, about 2 minutes.
  • Frost two 8 inch layers or 24 cupcakes
