JD'S CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES image

Yield makes 4-5 dozen

Number Of Ingredients 10

2 1/2 c all-purpose flour
1 1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp salt
1 c unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 1/4 c light brown sugar
1/2 c white sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp Jack Daniels Whiskey
1 pkg Milk Chocolate Chips
3/4 c chopped walnuts (optional)

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 400 degrees. 2. Cream butter and sugars until well blended. 3. Add eggs and whiskey. Beat until well mixed. 4. Add salt, flour and baking soda until well blended. 5. Add chocolate chips and nuts if used. 6. Using small cookie scoop (#09) or tablespoon, place on ungreased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. 7. Bake for 6-8 minutes or golden brown. Let set on cookie sheet for 2 minutes then cool completely on rack. Store in an air-tight container.
