Java Brownies image

These are so easy and rich. Everyone likes them and always asks for the recipe.

Time 50m

Number Of Ingredients 9

4 unsweetened chocolate
1 c butter
1 c sugar
3/4 c brown sugar
1 c flour
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 Tbsp espresso (or coffee if you don't have espresso)
3 large eggs (add last)

Steps:

  • 1. Melt chocolate squares and butter; add sugars, vanilla, baking powder, espresso and flour; Mix well; Add eggs.
  • 2. Bake at 350 doe 35 minutes in 8" square pan. Cool for a bit and sprinkle with power sugar.
