JAMAICAN JERK RUB image

Number Of Ingredients 14

1 Each Onion (chopped)
6 Each Green Onions (chopped)
2 Each Jalapeno peppers (chopped)
1 Each Scotch Bonnet/Habanero Pepper (seeded)
2 teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoon Garlic (chopped)
1-1/2 teaspoon Allspice
1 teaspoon Thyme
1 teaspoon Oregano
1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
1 teaspoon Black Pepper
1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon Cinammon
1/4 teaspoon Ground Cloves

Steps:

  • Add all ingredients to a blender and process until smooth. If the mixture is too thick, add just enough water to loosen it up. Rub the jerk seasoning all over the chicken, letting it marinade at least 4 hours, and better yet, overnight, before smoking it until tender.
