Italian Dressing Marinated Tilapia image

A tender tilapia fillet combined with the zesty taste of lemon makes for the ideal summer meal. The fish goes well with any side, we suggest using wild rice for a more filling meal.

Number Of Ingredients 12

2 lbs. tilapia fillets
1 tsp. coconut oil
1 tsp. cajun seasoning
1 lemon
Italian Dressing:
3/4 C. coconut oil
1T. mayonnaise
1/3 C. white vinegar
1/4 C. water
1/2 tsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. lemon juice

Steps:

  • Preheat the grill to medium heat, then brush oil on both sides of the tilapia fillets, sprinkle them with seasonings. You can add salt and pepper for taste. Place on the hot grill and cook for about 5 minutes. When cooked spritz some lemon juice on top and add the Italian dressing. To make the Italian dressing all you do is mix all of the ingredients together until mixture is smooth.
