HOT MUSHROOM SPREAD image

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 shallot, minced
2 tablespoons butter
8 ounces mushrooms, chopped
1 large garlic clove, pressed
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 - 2 teaspoons lemon juice, to taste
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh oregano, or 1 teaspoon dried
salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh baguette slices

Steps:

  • Sauté shallot in butter. Add mushrooms and garlic and sauté until soft. Add cream cheese, lemon juice, Worcestershire, oregano, salt and pepper. Stir until blended and heated through. Serve warm with French baguette slices. Serves 4.
