Honey Bun Cake image

This is so moist and yummy I hardly ever buy Honey Buns. Be careful though it's VERY adicting (: If u r on a diet this is deffinately NOT the cake to make. I've caught myself eating 2-3 pieces a day!

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 box(es) butter recipe yellow cake mix
2 stick(s) butter
4 - eggs
16 ounce(s) sour cream
1/2 cup(s) brown sugar
1/3 cup(s) chopped pecans (optional)
2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
1 cup(s) powdered sugar
1 tablespoon(s) milk
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350 Grease or spray 9x13 cake pan
  • Reserve 1/2 cup of dry cake mix
  • Beat together: remaining dry mix, butter, eggs, sour cream 2 min at medium speed
  • Spread 1/2 batter in pan
  • Stir together: reserved dry cake mix, brown sugar, pecans (optional), cinnamon
  • Sprinkle over batter in pan
  • To make spreading easier- drop by dollips the remaining batter over cinnamon mixture in pan
  • Bake 40 - 45 minutes till deep golden brown.
  • While cake is baking mix together Glaze -( pd sugar, milk, vanilla ) If too thick to pour as glaze add more milk 1 tsp at a time
  • Polk a few holes in warm cake and pour glaze over entire cake. Cool a little longer and ENJOY (:
