I found this recipe in Recipe Makeovers Homemade For Health Cooking For Lower Cancer Risk leaflet. I have not tried these blends, but I'm posting them for safe keeping.

1/4 cup dried dill
1 tablespoon dried chives
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon dried lemon peel
2 tablespoons ground turmeric
2 tablespoons ground coriander
1 tablespoon ground cumin
2 teaspoons ground cardamom
2 teaspoons ground ginger
2 teaspoons black pepper
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 tablespoons onion powder
2 teaspoons dried oregano
2 teaspoons dried thyme
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cayenne
1 teaspoon cumin
1/4 cup dried rosemary
1/4 cup dried basil leaves
2 tablespoons dried marjoram
2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 tablespoons dried thyme
2 teaspoons dried sage
2 teaspoons onion powder

Steps:

  • Dip Blend: Blend dried dill and dried chives, garlic powder and dried lemon peel. Mix with cottage cheese, or spread on chicken or fish.
  • Curry Blend: Blend ground turmeric, ground coriander, ground cumin, ground cardamom, ground ginger, black pepper, ground cloves, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg. Use for rice, lentil, vegetable and chicken dishes.
  • Spicy Blend: Combine onion powder, dried oregano, dried thyme, paprika, dry mustard, garlic powder, chili powder, cayenne, and cumin. Rub directly onto skinless chicken, lean meat, or vegetables before roasting.
  • All Purpose Blend: Mix dried rosemary, dried basil leaves, dried marjoram, garlic powder, dried thyme, dried sage, and onion powder.
