Hearty Oat & Walnut Bread (bread machine) image

I love walnuts, and I try to add it to most of my bread machine breads. This one is excellent with a soup or as a sandwich bread.

Yield 1 1/2 pound loaf

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 1/2 teaspoons yeast
3 1/4 cups bread flour
1/2 cup quick oats
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon salt
3/4 cup walnuts
1 tablespoon margarine
1 1/4 cups very warm water (not hot)

Steps:

  • Place ingredients in machine according to your manufacturer's directions.
