I've perfected this recipe over the years and everyone seems to like it. The spice mixture is easy to tweak according to taste. A can of tomato sauce and a can of beef broth can be added to thin the chili a bit if you like a soupier chili.

Steps:
- Add onion, garlic, lemon juice, peppers, ginger, and cilantro to food processor and process until smooth.
- Brown ground beef in large pot. Add onion mixture. Saute for 5 minutes, stirring as needed. Add beer and stir to combine.
- Add tomato paste, soup, and salsa to pot, stirring after each addition. Add mustard and spices.
- Add cans of beans, stirring to combine. Taste and adjust to make sure seasoning is correct. Simmer for 10 minutes more on low heat. Serve warm.
