Steps:
- Drain and wash the heart of palm with cold water; then quarter lengthwise the plum tomatoes and cut into 12 pieces. Place the heart of palm and cut tomatoes into medium salad bowl and add the chopped garlic and sliced basil. Salt and pepper to taste then add the lime juice and the olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Toss lightly but do not breakup the tomatoes. Let stand for approximately one hour at room temperature before serving.
