I got this recipe from a friend years ago but never tried it until recently. What a waste of time. I've tweaked it a little and I love it!! Don't know why it's called Hawaiian but it sure is good. Servings are approximate - it makes a bunch.

- Melt and simmer butter, sugar and spices until sugar dissolves.
- Pour over the rest of the ingredients and bake at 225 degrees for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
