Ham And Swiss Scalloped Potatoes image

i love this dish here i cook it up with some corn and green beans and yummy what a meal

Number Of Ingredients 7

6-8 potatoes
4 Tbsp flour
salt and pepper, to taste
1-2 c shredded swiss cheese
4 Tbsp butter
2 c milk warmed
2 c diced ham

Steps:

  • 1. boil the potatoes in a large pan for about 30 minutes, or till tender when pricked with a fork.
  • 2. cool potatoes slightly, then slice 1/4 inch thick.
  • 3. in a large pan or skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  • 4. stir in flour, cooking 1-2 minutes until golden. whisk in milk.
  • 5. bring to a low boil over medium heat.
  • 6. remove from heat and season with salt and pepper.
  • 7. layer potatoes, ham and swiss in buttered casserole dish. repeat layers.
  • 8. pour white sauce over all. bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
