Grilled Herb Chicken image

This is a family favorite I got saw on a Pillsbury ad or commercial years ago. I've really forgotten where I got it. It has been lost for a while and I finally found it. It has lots of flavor and is very easy to prepare.

Number Of Ingredients 8

3 - 3½ lb whole chicken, skin removed or several boneless chicken breasts
2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp seasoning salt
1 tsp dried oregano
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp paprika
¼ tsp cayenne pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Mix evoo and seasonings. Place in a zip lock bag or a container with a tight fitting lid. Add chicken and marinate about an hour (overnight would be ok) in the regrigerator. When ready to cook, remove chicken from refrigerator and let set at room temperature for a bit while you are heating up the grill. For a whole chicken, cook 35 - 50 minutes until done. For boneless chicken breasts, it won't take that long. NOTE: I have cooked this in the oven and it is still delicious. Leftovers are great sliced up and put in a salad.
