GREEN SALAD WITH ALMONDS AND ORANGE DRESSING image

lettuce
red onion, thinly sliced
2 oranges, sliced or mandarin
1 small jicama, julienne
4 oz. sliced almonds
3 T. sugar
For the Dressing:
1/2 t. grated orange peel
1/3 c. orange juice
2 T. red wine vinegar
1/2 c. veg. oil
2 T. sugar
1 T. Good Seasons Dry Italian Dressing Mix

Steps:

  • candy the almonds over medium heat in a skillet. Combine ingredients for the dressing.
