This is one of two side dishes that I created to go with my Faux Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich, & it was so good, I didn't have room for the sandwich. The green Beans were fresh & on sale and I could not resist 79 cents per pound. I didn't have any smoked meats to add but had a package of Smoked Turkey Kielbasa Sausage, & decided to use it, although I had never done that before. The flavors were so good & complimentary, I could not believe how tasty this dish of Green Beans were. I am excited to share it with you. Something so simple yet so tasty. I hope you give it a try too.

Steps:
- The grape tomatoes I used in this dish were given to my husband by a coworker, so that was all I had but you can use more if desired. Wash & remove stems from green beans, add to large pot. Add enough water to almost cover top of green Beans but not quite.
- Peel & Chop the onions, & then add to pot of green beans. Add the minced garlic in with onions.
- Cut the Smoked sausage into bite size pieces, I cut mine on an angle and then cut the slices in half again.
- Place over medium high heat and cook until beans are tender about 15 to 25 minutes, depending on how crisp you prefer them to be. Add steak seasoning, and stir to blend together. I like to drain any excess water from beans at this point using a colander.
- Add the beans back into the pot, and add the butter, smoked Sausage and Grape tomatoes, then stir to blend together.
- Allow to simmer over low heat about 5-8 minutes, just until sausage is heated through. Cover and keep warm until you are ready to serve.
- Add to a serving dish and top with additional chopped onions if desired just before you are ready to serve.
