Steps:
- 1. Open and drain all of the juice out of beans over a colander, rinse the beans well
- 2. Pour the beans into a large pot on the stove and cover with the chicken broth, add the ham and seasonings, bring to a slow boil, reduce and simmer for 2 hrs , for best flavor.
