Greek Macaroni and Cheese image

i made a new mac and cheese recipe,with a twist of greek.

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 pkg (8 ounces) dry elbow macaroni
1 Tbsp margarine
1/3 c all purpose flour
1/2 c greek yogurt
1 c cold milk
1 c half and half
1 c crumbled feta cheese
3/4 c shredded parmesan cheese
3/4 c shredded white cheddar cheese
1 c shredded swiss cheese
3/4 c sliced black olives
1 Tbsp greek seasoning

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.Coat a 2-quart casserole dish coated with cooking spray.
  • 2. Cook macaroni according to package directions.
  • 3. Place margarine and flour in a large saucepan,Gradually add greek yogurt,half and half and milk,stirring with a whisk until blended.Cook over medium heat until thick(about 8 minutes),stirring constantly.
  • 4. Add cheeses;cook 3 minutes or until cheese melts,stirring frequently. Remove from heat;stir in macaroni,olives and greek seasoning.
  • 5. Spoon mixture into a prepared casserole dish. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
