Greek God Pasta image

Delicious, quick and easy, fit for a god! One can substitute Parmesan cheese for feta cheese. Serve with a Greek salad or bruschetta

1 (16 ounce) package whole wheat rotini pasta
1 (16 ounce) can peeled and diced tomatoes, drained
2 tablespoons chopped green bell pepper
¼ cup chopped green onion
3 cups tomato sauce
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 cup sliced black olives
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons crumbled feta cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add rotini pasta, and cook until al dente, about 8 minutes. Drain and pour into a deep casserole dish.
  • Stir tomatoes, green pepper, green onion, olives and tomato sauce into the pasta. Season with basil and oregano and mix until evenly blended. Sprinkle mozzarella and feta cheese over the top.
  • Bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until cheese is melted and bubbly. Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
