Gravy Smothered Chicken Thighs image

I never had boneless chicken thighs before I tried this recipe. Thighs were always the last thing my family ate, but they lovvvvve this.I always serve with mashed potatoes,but rice or noodles would be great.

1/2 c flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp pepper
1 1/2 lb boneless chicken thighs
3 Tbsp vegetable oil
2 carrots
1 small onion
1/2 tsp garlic paste
1 can(s) chicken broth
1 can(s) cream of chicken soup

Steps:

  • 1. In plastic bag combine flour, salt, garlic powder, and pepper. Add chicken thighs,one at a time, shake to coat. In deep skillet brown chicken in 2 T oil. Remove and keep warm.
  • 2. In same skillet, saute carrots, onion, and 1T oil til tender. Add garlic cook 1 min. Add broth loosen browned bits, stir in soup'
  • 3. Return chicken to gravy, boil, and reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 min.
