BEST Granola!!! got this recipe from a friend and adapted it. I promise you it is soo worth it to put in the 5 teaspoons of cinnamon!!!

Number Of Ingredients 7

5 cups old fashioned oats
5 teaspoons cinnamon (yes 5!)
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup pecans, chopped
1/3 cup canola oil
1/3 cup honey
3/4 cup brown sugar (dark brown is best, but light brown works too)

Steps:

  • mix together oats, cinnamon, salt and pecans and set aside.
  • Melt together oil, honey and brown sugar. Do not bring to boil, just heat until sugar is melted.
  • Pour over dry ingredients and mix well.
  • Spread evenly on cookie sheet and bake at 375 for 10-12 min
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before breaking apart.
  • can add raisins after cooling. Golden raisins are the best.
