Granny's Corn Dodgers image

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 cup white corn meal
2 tablespoons bacon grease
1/2 cup boiling water
1 pinch salt

Steps:

  • Mix cornmeal, salt, and bacon grease until blended. Add about 1/2 cup boiling water to mixture. Form into patties about 1/2 inch thick. Fry in skillet with 1/4 inch lard. Serve hot.
