Grannys Apple crisp image

Me and my granny made it. And i'm going to share it with you.

Number Of Ingredients 8

4 medium tart cooking[granny smith],sliced[4cups]
3/4 cup(s) brown sugar
1/2 cup(s) all-purpose flour
1/2 cup(s) oats[any]
1/3 cup(s) butter or stick margarine,softened
3/4 teaspoon(s) ground cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon(s) ground nutmeg
- cream or ice cream[optinal]

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375 degrees.Grease bottom and sides of square pan,8*8*2 inches,with shortening.
  • Spread apples in pan. Mix remaining ingredients excepet cream;set over apples.
  • Bake 30 mins. or until topping is golden brown and apples are tender when pierced with fork.serve.
