Steps:
- Slowly brown onion and green pepper in a bit of oil to soften it, brown hamburger in same frying pan. Pour off any extra grease from the pan into a tin can (let it solidify then throw out). Add cumin and chili and cook for 30 sec to 1 minute until fragrant. Drain and rinse kidney beans and chick peas. Place all ingredients in large pot. Over medium heat bring to a boil, then lower to a low simmer and cook covered for 1 or 2 hours. You can also take lid off and chili will thicken more. Stir it every once in a while so it doesn't stick to the bottom.
