Steps:
- Mix flour and sugar and rub in the butter. Then add the eggs. Leave stand a few hours in the refrigerator if possible. Roll thin, cut into shapes and brush tops of cookies with beaten egg and sprinkle with a few nuts or sugar, if desired. Bake 375-degrees for approx 4 minutes, or until done, depending on thickness.
