GRANDMA MARGE'S FUDGE image

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 7 oz jar of marshmallow cream
1 small can evaporated milk
1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick)
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
12 oz bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup nuts (optional)

Steps:

  • Grease a 8x8 pan. Melt butter in sauce pan and add sugar, salt and milk. Stir over medium heat and add the marshmellow cream. Stir constantely and bring to a full rolling boil. Continue to stir for 5 additional minutes. Take off heat and add vanilla and choc chips. Stir and quickly pour into the greased pan. Cool and cut. Do not put in the frig as it makes it too difficult to cut. Store in a container with a tight lid.
