Gourmet Fettuccine Alfredo image

Number Of Ingredients 12

ALFREDO SAUCE
4 tablespoon(s) butter
8 ounce(s) cream cheese
6 cup(s) garlic minced
2 cup(s) heavy cream
1/2 cup(s) pecornino romano cheese shredded
1/2 cup(s) parmigiano- reggiano cheese shredded
1/4 teaspoon(s) freshly grated nutmeg
- juice of 1 lemon
- salt and pepper to taste
FETTUCCINE
8 ounce(s) fettuccine cooked and drained

Steps:

  • Add butter, cream cheese and garlic to saucepan and cook until melted and smooth. Add the heavy cream. Add the cheeses and whisk until smooth. Stir in nutmeg and lemon juice. taste and season with salt. Serve over cooked fettuccine
