Gnocchi and Sausage Casserole image

Use purchased fresh gnocchi to make this deliciously cheesy Italian sausage casserole.

1 pkg. (16 oz.) refrigerated gnocchi, uncooked
1 lb. Italian sausage
1 jar (14 oz.) CLASSICO Tomato and Basil Pasta Sauce
1-1/2 cups KRAFT Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, divided

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Cook gnocchi as directed on package, omitting salt. Meanwhile, crumble sausage into large skillet; cook on medium heat until evenly browned, stirring frequently.
  • Drain gnocchi and sausage. Return sausage to skillet. Add pasta sauce, 3/4 cup cheese and gnocchi; mix lightly.
  • Spoon into 2-qt. casserole sprayed with cooking spray; sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  • Bake 15 min. or until heated through.
