Got Milk? Since I was a young child (a long, long time ago) my mother made these cookies for my younger brother and me, as well as the children that she kept in her day nursery. The little children called her Gleason (as opposed to Mrs. Gleason). To show you how long ago that was, she charged $1 a day; gave them a hot meal, snacks and bought toys for them. All the little children loved Gleason. I asked Tootsie once why she liked coming to Gleason's and she said, "She makes good cookies!" I asked, "Is that the only reason?" She so cutely replied, "No, she makes good popsicles too!"
