Yield Makes one serving per guest.

Number Of Ingredients 5

-- Wild salmon filet or steaks: 6-10 oz. per person.
-- Low salt tamari, (may substitute low salt soy sauce or roasted garlic teriyaki sauce): 1/4 cup per serving.
-- 1 tbsp of grated fresh ginger per serving.
-- 1 tsp of grated fresh garlic per serving. (Skip this ingredient if you've used roasted garlic teriyaki sauce.)
-- 1 tbsp orange juice per serving

Steps:

  • Mix ingredients & marinate salmon at least 10 minutes per side. Filet only needs one side marinated, skin side up. ** Marinate longer, depending on your taste for ginger. (We sometimes marinate overnight.)** Baste salmon with marinade and broil 6-7 minutes on one side until edges of skin start to blacken. Turn salmon, baste again and broil another 5 minutes or so. Serve with a nice Chardonnay & bask in the compliments from your guests.
