- 1 Mix and make a soft but not sticky dough. 2 Roll and cut into oblong pieces. 3 Make a cut in the centre (but not from edge to edge). 4 Take an end and pull through the middle. 5 Fry in hot oil until golden brown. 6 Let cool. 7 Sprinkle with icing sugar. 8 Eat with watermelon.
