German Potato Cheese Soup image

Number Of Ingredients 8

5 cup(s) potatoes, chopped
1 cup(s) celery, chopped
1 cup(s) carrots, chopped
1 cup(s) onions, chopped
5 cup(s) water
4 - chicken bouillon cubes
2 can(s) cream of chicken soup
1 pound(s) cheese spread (i prefer velveeta)

Steps:

  • Add 5 cups of water to large sauce pan. Bring to a boil. Add bouillon cubes and wait for them to dissolve.
  • Add carrots, celery and onion to bouillon water. Cook 20 minutes.
  • Add potatoes. Cook 20 more minutes.
  • Add chicken soup and mix well. Add cheese (in pieces) and cook until cheese is melted. Serve with crumbled bacon on top.
