- Season beef with spices and Worcestershire sauce Then toss beef in 1/4 of the flour Heat olive oil in pot on medium heat Brown beef in batches on both sides until all meat is brown; set aside Saute onions until translucent Sprinkle in remaining flour and stir until no longer visible Add in the garlic Pour in red wine and stir until brown bits loosen from the bottom of the pot Add beef back in Pour in the beef broth Bring to a simmer Add in thyme and rosemary Lower heat, cover, and simmer for 2 hours or until beef is fork tender Remove thyme and rosemary sprigs before serving Enjoy!
