FRUIT FILLED COFFEE CAKE image

Yummy + Easy = Delicious made this tonight with my breakfast dinner.

Number Of Ingredients 10

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
1 tsp cinnamon
1 c sour cream
3 eggs
1/4 c water
1 can(s) cherry pie filling
1/2 c sliced almonds, toasted
1 c powdered sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp milk
1 tsp butter, softened

Steps:

1. Heat oven to 350f. Beat first 5 ingredients till well blended. Spray a 9x13 in pan with cooking spray. Pour batter into pan. With a tablespoon put spoonfuls of cherries all over the cake (do not mix in cake). Bake for 35-40 minutes. Meanwhile add powdered sugar, milk and butter for glaze. When cake is done spread over entire cake. Sprinkle with almonds. Serve warm.
2. ****I used blueberry pie filling and it was amazing!!
