Fruit Crunch image

This simple and delicious recipe can be made with any prepared pie or pudding filling. The use of a can of whole cranberry sauce is delicious too-if using your own homemade sauce or pudding 1 3/4 cups should be used.

1 cup(s) all purpose flour or bisquick
1 cup(s) oatmeal, uncooked
1/2 cup(s) firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup(s) cold butter or margarine
20 ounce(s) pineapple pie filling or filling of your choice-(1 3/4 cup)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350^. Grease an 8-in. square baking dish. Set aside. Combine flour, oatmeal and brown sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  • Place a little over 1/2 of the mixture in a greased 8-inch square baking dish.
  • Cover with the pineapple or other filling. Top with remaining crumbs. Bake for 50 minutes.It must be very crisp. Serve with ice cream of whipped topping.
