I am a fan of fairly straight-forward salsa... nothing too fancy or exotic. This basic recipe packs all the flavor punch you could want. I recently tried adding the oregano and now it's my new "secret" weapon... Give it a try!

Steps:
- 1. Quarter and seed tomatoes.
- 2. Dice the tomatoes and transfer to a bowl.
- 3. Finely chop onion and cilantro.
- 4. Seed and chop the chiles.
- 5. Stir chiles, onion, cilantro and garlic into tomatoes with sugar and lime juice and season with salt, pepper and oregano.
- 6. Note: For a less chunky texture, try using a food processor or blender... works great!
