Steps:
- Cut the crust off the brioche bread, and then cut into one inch cubes, and spread across the baking pan.
- Make the custard by whisking the eggs, half and half, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, orange zest, and vanilla together.
- Pour the custard over the bread, cover with plastic wrap, and let it sit in the fridge over night.
- Next morning take the casserole out of the fridge at least 30 minutes before you start cooking.
- Preheat oven to 350ยบ, and bake for 45 minutes to 50 minutes, uncovered. Remove it from the oven and let it rest, tented, for about 30 minutes.
