Four-Cheese Turkey Pasta Bake image

8 oz uncooked penne
1 small onion
2 Tbsp butter
4 clove garlic
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup, diluted
1 pkg 8oz. cream cheese, softened and cubed
1 c heavy whipping cream
1 c milk
1 jar(s) 4 1/2 oz. mushrooms, drained
1/2 c shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 c shredded parmesan cheese
1/2 c shredded swiss cheese
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground pepper
2 c cubed cooked turkey
1/2 c seasoned bread
3 Tbsp butter, melted

Steps:

  • 1. Cook penne according to directions and drain
  • 2. In a large skillet, saute onion in butter until tender. Add garlic and cook 2 minutes. Add soup, cream cheese,cream amd milk; cook and stir just until cream cheese is melted. Stir in the mushrooms, cheesed and spices. Cook just until cheeses are melted. Add turkey and penne and heat through
  • 3. Transfer to a greased 2 1/2-qt. baking dish. In a small bowl combine topping ingredients and sprinkle of pasta mixture. Bake at 35 minutes for 25 min. Uncover, bake 10-15 minutes longer or until golden brown.
