Number Of Ingredients 11

2 pkts fast rising dry yeast (2 1/2 teaspoons?)
2 cup tepid water - 90F
2 T sugar
4 T olive oil
1/2 veg oil
1 t table salt
5 1/2 c unbleached white flour
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1/4 c olive oil for topping
1 T whole rosemary
1 T kosher salt for topping

Steps:

  • dissolve yeast in water add sugar, olive oil, veg oil & regular salt Mix in 3 C flour and whip until dough begins to leave the sides of the mixing bowl, about 10 min. (KitchenAide w/dough hook) mix in remaining flour by hand or with dough hook and kneed the dough until smooth. Allow dough to rise 2x, right in bowl; punch down after each rising Oil 2 baking sheets (13" x 18"). divide dough between 2 pans. use fingers to press dough out to the edges of each pan. allow to rise for 30 min and brush with crushed garlic mixed with the oil for the topping. sprinkle w/ rosemary and kosher salt bake 375F for 30 minutes.
