FILET MIGNON WITH HORSERADISH DIJON CRUST image

Filet Mignon steaks trimmed of any fat
Fresh horseradish
Dijon mustard
Breadcrumbs

Steps:

  • Mix horseradish and dijon mustard in a small bowl until well combined and paste-like. Place 1 tablespoon of horseradish/Dijon paste on one side of each steak and spread evenly. Press steak, coated side down in breadcrumbs. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in saute pan or skillet. Place steak, coating side down first into saute pan and cook until your liking on both sides. Great served on top of garlic mashed potatoes with Bordelaise sauce and simple vegetables such as baby carrots, asparagus, etc.
