Steps:
- Mix yeast, sugar, and water together in a small bowl. Let proof for 8 minutes. If a full head of foam does not appear throw out and try again with new yeast. Meanwhile mix flour and salt in a medium bowl. Preheat oven to 500 degrees When proofing time is finished pour the yeast mixture over the flour and mix with a wooden spoon until a mass of dough clings together then knead for approximately 2 minutes. Turn bowl over onto a lightly floured surface and kneed all remaining pieces together into one ball. Continue to add small amounts of flour as needed for stickiness. Using a rolling pin roll dough out to desired shape with a cracker thickness. Transfer to a lightly greased baking sheet. Prick dough all over with a fork and bake in preheated oven for 2 to 4 minutes or until lightly browned on top. Remove from oven and top with desired sauce, toppings, and cheese. Return to oven and bake for 6 to 10 minutes or until cheese has melted to desired consistency.
